This apron is reminiscent of those worn in the 1920's and 1930's, which is when Battenburg Lace was very popular. In it's hey day, this would have come to just above the ankles.  I adapted it for today's woman.  It's so charming, and begs to be worn when you're serving tea to your favorite friends, or simply because it makes you feel good while doing your housework!   A very high quality 100% cotton was used for this apron. All seams are bound and there is much top stitching. The ties are reinforced where they meet the apron. The apron hangs approximately 27", or just below the knee. No need to worry about spills or spots ~ it's very easy to care for. Beautiful just for you or as a gift for a special person.
