Shabby Summer Handbag

I used a combination of Sanctuary by 3 Sisters and a seersucker checked fabric by Moda to make this adorable handbag. The front is highlighted with Battenberg lace, small vintage buttons, and a very narrow bow tie. The tab closure is secured by a large covered button. There is a large back pocket that is trimmed in the Battenberg lace and finished off with decorative stitching and another vintage bakelite button. There are two pockets inside: one is divided for your cell phone, keys, sun glasses, etc., and the other has a cubby hole for your pens. The straps have a 10” drop. The overall measurement of this charming handbag are 13 ½” across, 10” high, with a 3 ½” base. This is a very roomy handbag with a very dainty look! You can spot clean it with a mild detergent. If it needs a thorough cleaning, I recommend you have it dry cleaned.
