Charming Apron with Vintage Appeal

I absolutely loved making this apron! I made a pattern from a very old apron that I’ve had hanging on my kitchen wall for years. I loved the daintiness of it and the gentle curves at the bottom of the apron. So I decided I’d make a pattern out of it, and here is the result of that effort. I’m so pleased with it. The original apron was hand stitched. I machine stitched this piece and added embroidered stitching around the entire apron. It made all the difference! Wanting it to be as close as possible to the original apron, I made neck ties rather than my typical adjustable buttons. The fabric I picked for this apron is from the Kaufmann 1930’s family. Very soft and practically wrinkle free.

Please email for additional colors. I have a terrific selection right now.
